vcenter clone

Hi,

I have taken a vcenter clone few weeks back .After that I created two vm's .

Now the current vcenter not working as expected for some reason ,

What if I bring up the clone ,

What is the pros and cons

Assuming that the SQL DB is local on the vCenter, turning off the existing vCenter server and turning on the other one should work fine however any modifications after the clone was taken would not be reflected.

Try to resynchronize the password with the vCenter Server database:

  1. Right-click the ESXi host and click Disconnect.
  2. Reconnect the host and enter the root password when prompted.

Disconnect & re-connect never reboot the resources (Guest's) on the ESXi host.
