Repliaction from VMware Replication Appliance 5.8.1 to VMware Replication Appliance 6.5.0

Hi All,

We have source vCenter : 5.5 version

Target vCenter : 6.5 version

We are planning to use VMware Replication Appliance(vRA) to do replication between these two vCenters and we like to know if we can do that.

In source we will install vRA – 5.8.1 version and target we will have vRA- 6.5.0.

Can we do replication from this source vRA 5.8.1 to target vRA 6.5.0?

Regards,

Ramkishore.

Hi,

Replication requires the same major version of VC, so VC 5.5 to VC 6.5 will not work.
