noob port group question

Hi fellas,

I has just installed a esxi 6.5 on an old box.

and vm centos 7 was also installed.

something wrong happened.

inside the vm, it shows three different mac for different interfaces, same also on esxi vm hardware configuration tab.

however, on the vswitch, all the port groups see one identical mac.

could someone she some light?

Thanks.

Ryan

From the information provided this looks like a display issue.  Are you able to view from a remote machine or switch what MAC is presented on the network for each portgroup?

I agree with mhampto.

I'm able to reproduce this with the current Host Client v1.21.

I've moved the discussion from VMware ESXi to vSphere Host Client so that the developers get aware of it.

Can you confirm that all VLANs are allowed on the physical switch port (tagged/trunked mode), and that routing between the VLANs work?
