Hi all,
I am running into a peculiar issue with Horizon 7.0.3. Have a single desktop pool with dedicated assignment. The pool will provision the desktops but will not power it up. The status stays in "Provisioning" until you start seeing entries in vCenter that the desktops are getting deleted after which the provisioning with error out with "View Composer DiskFault: disk customization failed due to an internal error"
I have double checked all permissions for the service accounts used by Composer as well as connection servers.
Any ideas?
Using:
If you did all the checks & if you don't have a KMS activation server, then You need a Volume Licensing (VL) for Windows & Office.
Do you already have that?

Hi Raul,
I have a KMS server in the environment and it is activating desktops in the Horizon 6 environment.
Maybe this can help!!!
A Desktop is created on vCenter Ok, but is deleted soon after vCenter complains about either “disposable” or “internal” .vmdk files this desktop. ERROR: View Composer DiskFault: Disk customization failed due to an internal error.

Linked Clone pool creation and recomposition fails with VMware Horizon View 6.1.x and older releases (2133018)

Thanks Raul but neither applies in my case. As a test, I changed Horizon 7 to point to vCenter 6.0 and now everything is working. So looks like something to do with 6.5. Will try to take some time out tomorrow to troubleshoot this further.
Great!
