ESXi licensing for Horizon 7

Hi.

I would like to deploy Horizon-based RDS Application publishing platform on 3 servers, but i'am not fully understand vmware licence policy. How many licences on VMware ESXi are included in Horizon 7 Enterprise? And it is per socket, CPU?

they actually go per vm so you receive as much vm licenses as you buy view licenses and you can choose how to use them since you can also use them for the infra for view.

Horizon license doesn't include any ESXi licenses. These are separated bought. You will buy vSphere for Horizon licenses and this is for the number of desktops you intend to deploy. Also, if using application publishing, you will require Microsoft RDS licenses for the number of users that will be using the published application. Hope this helps.

that is incorrect, View does include the licenses but you can buy them seperately if you want to use them for something like Xendesktop see https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/vmware-horizon-pricing-packaging-g...

My bad. I take my statement back. I overlooked few details. Nice catch.
