vSphere Replication Upgrade

Hi,

recently we have upgraded our vCenter from version 6.0 to 6.5. Now we need to upgrade vSphere Replication... I have read that we need to reregister vSphere Replication serverice after upgrade. Should I first Unregister vSR VMware vSphere 6.5 Documentation Library -> upgrade -> register again ???

or just upgrade and then reregister? and will the upgoing replication survive this ?

any info would be helpfull.

thanks in advance,

regards,

There is no need to unregister first. You just upgrade vCenter, then upgrade vSphere Replication, and then go to the VAMI Configuration page and register with VC again (by clicking Save and Restart Services).

Existing replication jobs should not be affected.

Thank you, it was really straight forward and existing replications were not affected.
