vCenter high cpu usage

Our vCenter Server Appliance is exhibiting very high CPU usage constantly 24/7.

Version 6.0.0, build 5318203.

Opening a shell to it and running top suggests that vmware-vws is the culprit.

1 Month Performance Summary:

VM has 8GB of RAM and 2x vCPUs (Xeon L5506).
