While trying to install VMRC client on Windows 10 i get error "Failed to install the HCmon driver" and setup is rolled back.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
Worked for me! Running on elevated cmd prompt.

launch cmd as 'Run as admini....'
copy & paste the installer directory e.g. c:\Users\your username\Desktop\VMware-VMRC-9.0.0-4288332.msi
