1. Does Horizon View Advanced License capable of RDSH or publishing applications? YES!
2. Do you need essentials plus or enterprise plus licenses if implementing horizon view? YES!
3. For PROD and DR scenario, licensing for PROD and DR is different? YES!
Recomended VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus US$ 3,495.00
Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS), Distributed Power Management (DPM)
4. Does Horizon view has built in replication? NO!
To provide high availability and load balancing, you can install one or more additional instances of View Connection Server that replicate an existing View Connection Server instance. After a replica installation, the existing and newly installed instances of View Connection Server are identical.
Licensing is confusing, please chose the best option for you:

2. Do you need essentials plus or enterprise plus licenses if implementing horizon view? YES!
Is this needed? I talked to one of VMware engineers, he said essentials plus or enterprise plus is not needed as long as it will be used for RDSH or publishing applications.
His explanation was that Horizon View advanced already has vcenter and ESXI equivalent for VDI.
Now it gets really confusing on the licensing.
Any additional info?
Lets make it simple!
VMware View licensing comes in two versions: a bundled version (end-to-end solution) or an add-on.
The bundled version is best used when you have a dedicated VMware vCenter cluster for your VDI environment. This licensing type allows you to run the number of VDI VMs you purchased and includes licenses for the VMware ESXI hosts that you run the VDI VMs on.
1. If you don't need "RDSH or publishing applications" then :smileyx: (Essentials Plus or Enterprise Plus) is not is not for you
2. If you would like to buy (Horizon View advanced) :smileyplus: Yes "vCenter and ESXI equivalent for VDI" is included

So is it safe to say that since we will be using Horizon View Advanced, NO need for the Essentials Plus or Enterprise Plus license?
Since this will be a new setup and will have a dedicated vCenter Server?
The add on that you are saying is if there is an existing VMware infra and you want to add the Horizon View so that's why you are saying Essentials Plus or Enterprise Plus is needed?
Am I correct?
