UI not showing the deployment VM's IP Address

Hi,

I am implementing VRA7.2. I am stuck on a problem that, when i am listing all the deployment item on the UI, i cannot see the IP address listed. Similarly the approval email also not listed the ip address of the deployed instance. I am using external DHCP server for ip assignment. Please  help.

Surprisingly.... when i checked the ui in the morning i can see all items the ip address. I think it is because of the schedule of data collection from vsphere.

But, vra as a selfservice portal, if cannot show  the ip address of the items right after the deployment, it doesn't seems worth for end users. They have to wait a whole day to get the ip address.

Please suggest if i am missing something.

If DHCP, the state data collection collects the primary IP address. By default it is 15 minutes cycle unless you change it.

You are right, i am using the default 15 minutes for state data collection. But some how even after 1 hour the ui was not updating with the IP.

Also, what i can see is on the deployment status email which sent to the user after completing the deployment too shows none in the ip address feild. In the production scenario this is a major issue if the users not getting IP.
