VmWare horizon7 session logout issue

Hi,

I am using Horizon client 7 (software version 4.5) with my MAC and I have a weird problem. When I am connected to my Linux VM and if my local machine where my Horizon client is running goes to sleep because of the inactivity, I lose connection to my Linux VM, which I am accessing through horizon client. This is of course normal. But the problem is, when I login again, I get the screen of my linux VM but my mouse pad does not work. It just hovers but simply does not select anything. I will have to reboot the linux machine by SSH from my local PC to correct this. Appreciate if anyone could assist me.

Thanks,

Rakesh

I recommend you to please re-install VMware tools on your Linux machine, what type [Ubuntu or Red Hat / CentOS ] of linux machine you are using?

for session log-off issue:

is it happening while you are using VM? if not check the pool setting

Looks like the problem is back. My mouse is frozen. I can only hover it but not select anything. Rebooting the machine gets it back to working state but, it would not last long. Appreciate any help.

Thanks

I am sorry for it, It is unexpected behavior, we have two options

1) reinstall one's again VMware tools please follow this steps "Installing VMware Tools in an Ubuntu virtual machine (1022525) | VMware KB "

2) after doing 1st step, if you still seeing this error, please re create your parent machine.

Thank you,
