Blast not working externally

We have two UAGs (3.0) in a HA environment in that they are behind a load balancer.  The two connection servers are also behind a load balancer.

Only BLAST external is not working.

The client and PCoIP both work externally.  Internally, all three protocols work fine as well.  Externally, no BLAST.  I'm baffled.

Firewall looks good.  I get a screen that shows me my workstation, but it has a red bang across it.  I'm stuck as to where to troubleshoot this.

I "think" my locked.properties file might be the issue.  It looks like this:

checkOrigin=false

balancedHost=dr.view.domain.org

portalHost.1=vvap01p.secure.external
portalHost.2=vvap02p.secure.external

Does that look right?  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Cliff

Please check if the KB 2086515, if you are using View 5.3

Check the debug log files on Connection Server to see if you see errors containing the word "origin". If you do, then locked.properties needs to be configured and you need to restart the Connection Server service.

Verify that Blast Security Gateway (BSG) is disabled on Connection Server.

When you say Blast isn't working, is this from the HTML 5 Client or the native Horizon Client configured for Blast (when you launch the desktop), or both?

Please verify

  • If the load balancer is configured with Source Address Affinity Persistence for Blast
  • Blast Security Gateway (BSG) is enabled on Connection Server.
