You will change just the domain controller or the domain name? Anyway, how is the Active Directory identity source configured on SSO? It is using Active Directory (Integrated Windows Authentication) or Active Directory as an LDAP Server?

What you need to do on SSO is change from Active Directory (Integrated Windows Authentication) to Active Directory as an LDAP Server, after that change you can remove the vCenter virtual machine from the old domain and add to the new one. Remember that if you're using domain accounts in the vCenter services and to connect to the SQL database, you will need to make changes there also.
