Step 5. start the database from the new location using this command:
sudo -u postgres /opt/vmware/vpostgres/1.0/bin/pg_ctl -D /storage/sdc/vpostgres start
I'm getting this error "pg_ctl: could not open PID file "/storage/sdc/vpostgres/postmaster.pid": Permission denied
Off course I'm logged in as root.
Copied the DB again, tried both from /dev and root directory. Still same issue.
