Outlook Auto Account Setup doesn't work

Hi all,

Tried creating an App Stack with Office 2013 (also tried 2016 in a separate appstack).

When it attaches, Outlook "Auto Account Setup" does not automatically populate.

App Volumes 2.11, Horizon 7.02, Windows 7 SP1 + Updates

Normally this would populate (it does if installed into the golden master).

Any clues?

That's because these are user base changes, you need to leverage a persona management, like Writable Volumes or UEM.

I prefer UEM, much more advance in user persona management and less limitations.

We currently use UEM, and it still shows like this.

This is the first run I'm talking about with a clean UEM profile; Auto Account Setup should fill in the details should it not?

Did you setup your Office GPO's, like this?

You also can run the UEM App Profiler to capture defined settings to be applied at login.

Example:

I think this could be more of an AD/DNS issue than vmware.

Do you have DNS fully populated with the _srv & cname rules to auto-populate?

And do you have the full addressed put in the user's AD filed so it knows to read it?
