Linux login in on VMWare I didn't specify this linux id/pw - How do I get rid off!! roperw@uisalumni.org (Academic Purposes)

I installed VMWare 12.5 for my Oracle App, (Academic Purpose) Oracle Linux Server 7.2
Kernel 3.10.   x86_64

The following keeps coming up and before it didn't. It just took me to my Oracle Screen to sing in with my Orack ID/PW via Icons.  Not this 'linux prompt'

Must have this resolved.   Walter Earl Roper, Austin, TX  roperw@uisalumnni.org   roperw4@gmail.com

VMware 12.5 I assume this is VMware Workstation, so I have moved your thread from vCNS to relevant sub-forum: Workstation Pro

What's stopping you from logging in with the usual user ID and password?

After logging in, issue an "sudo init 5" to try to resume GUI.
