ESX Agents

Under one of my clusters I found the below . ESX Agents. I understand that it is a resource pool.

Would like to check what is this & why it is created.

Is it created automatically ?

I have read this.

But not able to understand why it is created under only 1 cluster. There are multiple clusters but this resource pool is created under only 1 cluster.

Also we don`t use vSAN in our environment.

Not able to clearly understand how this is being created.

Is DRS enabled on the cluster that having ESX Agents resource pool and not enabled on the other clusters?

I have total 8 clusters. Out of 8, 4 has been configured with DRS Fully automated  & remaining 4 set to manual.

Out of 4 which are set to fully automated , for 1 cluster ESX Agents is visible.

At present I am checking if any activity was done which triggered the DRS to kick in. I am checking this.

So would like to know if for this particular cluster , in case DRS is kicked in does it create the resource pool.

for the other clusters since no DRS is kicked in, no resource pool created for those cluster.

Is this the logic ?
