vIDM 2.8.1 + SQL Server 2014 -> Failed configuring database connection

I have deployed a new vIDM 2.8.1 from scratch several times, creating the database with the script found in the documentation and always getting the error "Failed configuring database connection" after step 5/5. Tables are created on the database.

Anyone else having this error ?

Another error when deploying is "There was a problem activating this Connector"

I have checked time sync ,dns entries, seems good.
