Datastore doesn't show all the available storage

Hi everyone,

We have a standalone ESX6.5 running on a single server configured with Adaptec controller RAID 5 and have 1.91TB storage available. Storage adapter shows the correct storage size as well.

There is only one datastore being configured but the capacity shows 557.75GB only.

Can you please advise the direction to troubleshoot the issue? Many thanks.

Hi,

May be  the while creating the data store the size is given only 557 0r 600 Gb only .

You can try to extend the drive and if the space is showing there it is available there . (Match the NAA ID to verify its from same raid volume )

Hi RAJ_RAJ.

Thanks for your advice. We followed the steps and can see the extents and extent device.

But there is nothing for selection after clicking the Increase button.

Is this ESXi 6.5 server

Also please do a rescan all and check from Web console .
