Try as I might when I put the mailserver hostname or IP in the host box on the Email tab then when I try a test no mail comes through.
If I then log off the appliance and log back in again the Host box is blank. This happens every time, so the Host is not being saved and therefore I have no warning facility if the log collection starts to fail.
Has anybody come across this before and has any tips, or is this a support call issue?
Can't believe this is a general fault or surely somebody would know about it by now?

There are TWO save buttons on the page and my natural word blindness meant I scanned right over the one that saved the mailserver setting and just pressed the one that saved the alerts settings.
Apparently that one is up for a GUI redesign as support are fed up answering questions about it

If it makes you feel any better, you weren't the only one that did this! I was pulling my hair out, did a Google search, and found your post. All I could do was laugh at myself!
