VCSA 6.5 doesn't work after reboot

Hi guys,

i have a problem with my vcsa 6.5 in my homelab. After i rebooted my vcsa i can't access neither to appliance managemnt nor to the web client. The only problem i could recognized is that unmounting /storage/log failed during the restart. When i am logged in via console i can ping localhost and default gateway but no other host in the same subnet.

Can anybody give me some tips where i have to look whts wrong with vcsa ?

Thanks a lot !

Nick

‌What is the status of the services and if any are stopped can you manually start them as described in this KB?

What hat is the output of du -sh ?

Hi jhague,

thank you for the answer. The output of du -sh is 24K.

I can't start a lot of services. Here is the output of 'service-control --start --all':

service-control --start --all.PNG

I think i have an network problem.I have to correct my statement that i can ping the gateway. I can't ping the gateway and i cant ping a vm in the same subnet. But if check my network settings with ifconfig, i cant find any wrong config.

Regards,

Nikolas
