Hi ,

You may remove the temp folders on the machine which you are running the setup , restart and try . Also verify the ESXI and vCenter FDQN is reachable form this server .

You may try to run the installation from another server also .

I meant same , from web you start the configuration  DNS should be working perfectly and required ports should be open .

Hope there is no issue with SSO also  .

Is possible to get  the logs to check the issue .

after additional reboots both vcsa i can run stage2 upgrade, but get error:

Error

Internal error occurs during Export of vSphere ESX Agent Manager.

Resolution

Send upgrade log files to VMware technical support team for further assistance.

seems upgrader is very bugged, like it is alpfa/beta version.

Similar thread is here: Cannot upgrade VCSA 6.0 to 6.5 - Internal error occurs during Export of vSphere ESX Agent Manager

It looks, that especially 6.0 U3 has big issue with upgrade process

Yes, I read this KB, but this give solution only for vCenter based on Windows Server, not for Linux Appliance.

I think you can also try it on VCSA

ssh to vcsa

type

- service-control --status vmware-eam

check if it is running or not. if not, start it.

if it is running

try stop and restart it.

- service-control --stop vmware-eam

- service-control --start vmware-eam

This service is running. I made a reboot before vCenter upgrade, so this service should be refreshed.

Now I tried to stop and start service on running machine and try perform upgrade procedure.
