Which EVC mode need for cluster with Intel E5645 and E5-2630

Hi All,

We have one HA cluster with four identical nodes with the following configuration.

Model=Fujitsu-Primergy RX200 S6

CPU=Intel Xeon E5645 @ 2.40GHz

Now, we need to add one host with CPU of Intel Xeon E5-2630 @ 2.30 GHz. I aware Enhanced vMotion Compatibility creates the baseline and suppress the new features compare than old one. But,when i enable EVC i can see there following EVC modes. Which mode i need to select for the mixed cluster with E5645 and E5-2630 Processors.

Intel® "Merom" Generation (Xeon® Core™2)
Intel® "Penryn" Generation (Xeon® 45nm Core™2)
Intel® "Nehalem" Generation (Xeon® Core™ i7)
Intel® "Westmere" Generation (Xeon® 32nm Core™ i7)
Intel® "Sandy Bridge" Generation

You can find the EVC mode for a processor in the VMware Compatibility Guide. You should choose the highest EVC mode that is support by both processors. In this case it is the Intel® "Westmere" Generation EVC mode.

See for more information about EVC mode: Enhanced vMotion Compatibility (EVC) processor support.
