Security tag management with vRO

Hi All,

I recently installed NSX plugin to vRO. I'm looking to manage security tags from vRO and I can see a workflow for adding security tag to VM but I cannot find out how can I remove a security tag from VM. If anyone knows how to create a workflow for removing a security tag from Vm with vRO or PowerNSX please let me know.

Have you explore vRealize Automation and NSX Extensibility KitvRealize Automation and NSX Extensibility Kit ?

The kits has both Day-0 provisioning and Day-2 operations workflow for NSX.

I believe these workflows are built to support vRA but you can use them without vRA.

The workflows are based on vRO HTTP-REST plugin.

As you can see below, there are some workflows to remove single or multiple VMs from Security Group.

If you're using the 1.1 NSX plugin for vRO, it includes a workflow called "detach security tags from VM" out of the box which sounds like it should do what you're asking.

Thank you that what I was looking for. I had the older version of the plug-in and it did not have the detach security tag.
