For security reasons we would like to remove all mention of our internal domains from the Horizon View Client login screen (ie the drop down menu on the login page).
I have used the vdmadmin command to remove all domains (including the primary one which is the only domain our users would actually login from), but the single primary domain still appears in the list.
We would prefer our users to have to login with a text string of <domain>\<username> or <username>@<domain> and to show no domain in the drop down box of the login screen.
Is this possible, and if so, how do I achieve this?
Thanks and Regards
Gary
If you specify a domain for inclusion, and its domain controller is not currently accessible, View does not include that domain in the list of active domains.
You cannot exclude the primary domain to which a View Connection Server instance or security server belongs.

If you want the domainname to be set and not to be changed by the user at the view client then using group policies that can be achieved either by domain group policy or the client local group policy using the adm templates
Hi Garymansell,
Can you please specify which Horizon view version and client version you are using?
But as of now there is no setting which is available to completely hide Primary Domain Name in View client.
