Windows 7 Aero doesn't works

My pc have Windows 7 host, but when i installing the tools for enabling Aero doesn't works, previously ir works and VirtualBox doesn't works,  but some weeks ago i did reinstall Windows to factory conditions but Is reversible configuraciones

I need help

I don't know Because my card Is not support with Aero but i don't undersatand why previously wouldn't  works un VirtualBox? but here (VMWare) yes

Hi Niko,

As you keep on mentioning that "it used to work on VMware" here's one more thing you can try.

Before Workstation Pro 12, the VMware graphics engine apparently used D3D render, perhaps that is why it worked with your graphics card?

In order to re-enable that older mode you have to modify your .vmx file by hand by adding the following lines:

mks.enableD3DRenderer = TRUE

mks.enableDX11Renderer = FALSE

It is best to make a copy of the vmx before editing and edit it with VMware and your virtual machine shut down.

Use notepad (NOT something like word) to edit the file.

Then after booting your VM, rerun the windows experience rating and see if it helped.

Yes it works the Windows 7 Aero

I think so the VMWare has been errores, but i don't know about this

Other question

Previously when don't works in VirtualBox (NOW YES), but months ago why doesn't works the Windows 7 aero in VirtualBox if i already installed the guest additions
