hyperv-threading

two esxi running 5.5 u1 on a cluster. and i saw hyperv-threading is inactive. then i looked hyperv-threading on bios and i didnt settings on bios that. i looked the internet and i found a document. Note: This CPU does not support Hyper-Threading. What is wrong with a design and disadvantage ?
