El Capitan freezing when running for first time

I am trying to install OSX on a virtual machine to use specific software not available for windows, I am following this tutorial: How To Install OSX on PC (in VM) 100% WORKING 2016 - YouTube

I have done everything correctly (I think) but when I play the vm for the first time, the apple logo appears and the loading bar gets to about 3/4 before it freezes.

Might it be the amount of memory needed? I also think I read somewhere that AMD hardware can cause a problem with OSX on a vm but I can't remember.

I used the same configuration as that in the video.

Explaination in Laymans terms would be appreciated as I am new to vms. Any help appreciated!

Specs:

intel i5-3330 (3.0GHz)

AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

Windows 10
