VMware Horizon Client vs Zero Client

Does the horizon view software client performs as good as a zero client like Wyse P25?

In my opinion the software client running on a real PC has always seemed smoother.

And i found out what is my problem, the client is performing well, i get good FPS, but mouse is impossible to use with 3D applications/games.

I need relative mouse option, but it seems only supported on windows client, and i'm using linux client.
