Hello Guys,
I am already VCP 6-NV and VCP–NV Certified which is Valid until February 2017. Can I appear in VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization Exam with out the Training and Foundation Course or first I have to pass the (VCA6-DCV) exam?
Thanks,
Amin
Since you have a vaild VCP certification, you can go directly to the VCP6-DCV exam, see path #2: VCP6-DCV Certification
Yes you can, as per the reply above this one.
For reference, VCA is never a pre-requisite for a VCP.
Thanks to Every one for the support and kind information.
Cheers,

Hello jahanzaib,
Please i am new to VMware. I have a valid CCNP Routing and Switching Certificate and i will like to start the VCP-NV Track, can you please guide me on how to go about it ?
What steps do i need to take ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Start here: VCP6-NV Certification
You'll need to pass 2 exams - vSphere Foundations and the specific exam for VCP6-NV - you can discover more about the objectives/topics via the link above.
While your Cisco certification means you would be able to bypass the usual training requirement for a VCP certification, you will have much to learn if you're new to VMware - both in terms of vSphere, and NSX itself.
There is a free practice exam for the vSphere 6 Foundations test at www.trainertests.com
Good luck on your exams
And some for the VCP6-DCV exam here: Practice Questions – Elastic Sky
Hi,
Here is a full path for the NV Track. You must start from the foundation Exam to get into NV. See below the Link to find more details:
