Guys Need your help Migrate E1000 Adapter to vmxnet3 with Windows Virtual Machines

Hi Guys,

I have some issue. After I change 20 servers nic e1000 to vmxnet3 using below powercli command in windows driver still shows e1000 driver it should be vmxnet3 right?

Get-VM $VMlist | Get-NetworkAdapter | set-networkadapter -type vmxnet3 -confirm:$false

Troubleshooting below done:

- uninstall vmtools and install reboot server same issue

- upgrade vmtools same issue

- No hidden drivers

Note: If we create new nic set to vmxnet3 it shows the correct driver
