ESXi 6.5 HP OEM Build 4564106 Purple Screen in HP ML150 G9 Server

Upgraded 6.0 Build 3029758 to VMware-ESXi-6.5.0-OS-Release-4564106-HPE-650.9.6.0.28-Nov2016 build. Received following screen after a few hours of up-time.

Also attempted an upgrade of above build on a HP ML350 G6, without success. No purple screen, but host would not respond or allow any management connections.

Both servers have latest HP SPP deployed. (871790_001_spp-2016.10.0-SPP2016100.2016_1015.191)

Same issue on HP ML110 G9.

Only now I have read that ML110 G9 is not compatible with 6.5

Is there any way to downgrade to 6.0 U2 without lost any VMs?

Me too

I have the same problem on DL389 G9 after upgrading to ESXi 6.5. It crashes with the same purple screen.

(edit: using HPE iso, installed from scratch, not updated)

Finaly, after 2 months there is a patch for the problem:
