Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help.
I have tried research this error but no found any answers as yet.
I've transferred my VM from one macbook pro to another via USB Hard drive and the VM fails to start up, immediately stating "Internal Error"
I've tried running a First Aid on the disk and that reported no problems.
The logs in in the vmware folder are blank, but found the below in the /var/log
Jan 12 14:17:12 robmacbookpro com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.trustd.agent[1757]): Service exited due to signal: Bus error: 10 sent by exc handler[0]
Jan 12 14:17:12 robmacbookpro com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.trustd.agent): Service only ran for 6 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 4 seconds.
Can anyone help?
Regards,
Rob
Hi Rob,
Sorry, not seeing in the log what version of OS X / macOS you are running, but I do notice that you are trying to run Fusion 7.
Fusion 7 does not work well with macOS Sierra. You might be able to get Fusion 7.1.3 (latest I think?) to work under macOS, but it won't be great.

Hi Wila,
Oh really? Ah man! Do you think its worth upgrading to the latest version of fusion 8.x ?
macOS is Sierra 10.12.2
Fusion is 7.1.3
Thanks for the reply.
Rob,
Assuming that you want to stay with macOS Sierra then yes I think it is worthwhile to update.
There's a possibility to use Fusion 8 as a 30 day time limited trial to see if it works out for you.
If it works out for you then buy and assign the license to the install and the time limit will be removed (so no need to reinstall)
Try VMware Fusion or Fusion Pro.
