SRM 6.1 Unable to pair 2nd SRM site, odd error.

On a new installation of vCenter 6u1b and SRM, I'm unable to pair to the second site. I can add the PSC address (with default port 443), 'see' the site with matching SRM extension, connect with an admin acct, exchange certs, but then I get an odd error:

"SRM Server Cannot complete a pair Operation. The reason is: fault.lookup.fault.EntryNotFoundFault.summary.lookup.fault.EntryNotFoundFault.summary."

I've not been able to find anything on this specific error. I've got a call in to VMware - waiting for a call back and an official ticket number.

Has anyone seen this before?

SRM version 6.1.0 build 3037005.... Also, the back-end is ODBC'd to a SQL '14 DB that is in an Availability Group.

Thanks.

Did you ever resolve this?  We're running into this same error.

Having similar problems but no error at all.  When I navigate the pairing wizard I cannot "see" any server at all from either side.  I point to the PSC corresponding to the site with which I want to pair and the "matching srm extension" box does not populate at all.  We are installed with enhanced linked mode which, in several documents, appears not to be supported.

Not getting a lot of help with this from support.

I eventually got the issues resolved, but I don't know what the issue was. I basically just ripped everything out and re-installed SRM. One of the issues MAY have been that the PSC was embedded on one vCenter. When I rebuilt it, I separated it out. Other than that, i'm not sure..

I had the same issue and managed to find a resolution. Both VCenter servers were also running with the embedded PSC, the issue was on install of SRM on both sites I specified the PSC as the loopback 127.0.0.1 address. The problem is when you link from another site, that sitre will attempt to use the same address to contact the PSC so it is effectively talking to itself.

Login to SRM on the vCentre Server, click on the site and check in the "summary" tab what the Platform services Controller address is as both sites need to be able to communicate to this address. To change this and save a re-install, close vCenter, open control panel in Windows "Programs and Features" and select "change" on VMware VCenter Site Recovery Manager. Here you can modify the PSC settings withoput reinstall.

Hope this helps someone out Smiley Happy
