ESXi : lost storage path hba after 6.5 upgrade

Hello,

I've lost my datastore connectivity after esxi 6.5 upgrade on  IBM x3650 M3  with HBA controller :

2016-11-25T11:58:49.708Z cpu0:65724)FSS: 5749: No FS driver claimed device 'mpx.vmhba1:C0:T0:L0': No filesystem on the device

I believe that the problem is because IBM System x3650 M3 do not support vSphere 6.5, see:

x3650.JPG

If you want keep support with VMware/IBM, I will recommend you downgrade to a supported version.

I believe that the problem is because IBM System x3650 M3 do not support vSphere 6.5, see:

If you want keep support with VMware/IBM, I will recommend you downgrade to a supported version.

Kindly check your HBA card model

Down Load Latest drivers and firmware and do the update .

/usr/lib/vmware/vmkmgmt_keyval/vmkmgmt_keyval -a  to check the existing model and firmware details .

My card is listed in there : Devices deprecated and unsupported in VMware ESXi 6.0 (2087970) | VMware KB

I'll try to load the driver manually.

You may update the Firmware as well form vendor site (qlogic / emulex ) etc
