Is OS X on ESXi legal?

Hello.

According to the Apple EULA "http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/OSX1011.pdf" you can just run OS X on Apple. Why ESXi did it? Is it because of all Apple hardware are PC hardware?

Hi,

You can install ESXi host on Mac and run VM OSX after that. But You can't deploye a VM OSX on an other physical server. It's not a technical problem to run a VM OSX on other server but it's a problem with the licensing OSX.
