Embedded Host Client - permissions

Hi

I would like to allow a user to manage a single VM using the Embedded Host Client and only see that VM to interact with its console. I managed to set the permissions correctly under the vSphere client and that worked but the Embedded Host Client does not allow that user to login. I can login as root or other administrator without issues. What is preventing a limited access user to login using the Host Client?

The problem is that the Vsphere client works with the permissions as intended (showing just the VM the user is supposed to see and work with). Why would the Host Client require different permissions? I am assuming the problem is a permission issue because it times out when I try to login as the same user with limited access that logs in successfully through the vSphere client.
