Need help about SSD PCIe

Hi all,

I want to setup Server with 4 SSD PCIe ( Software - RAID 10 ) for VMWare vSphere Server.

But my friend say " There is no way to software RAID from within ESXi."

I don't understand about Storage with ESXi. I use VMWare Workstation only.

Hi,

I want to setup and data store  at this server.with ESXi.

I can't setup SAN or NAS for other server to export data store for ESXi Server.

I want to know: setup RAID 10: 4 SSD P3700 for this server to setup and store ESXi, can?

Why use Raid 10?

     To protect the data from SSD failure?

     For performance?

     To have 1 datastore?

     All of the above?

The most important: To protect the data from SSD failure.

I think: performance of SSD P3700 is good, no need raid for this.

Can solve this problem?
