    Horizon View Client on iOS iPad issue

      Hi All,

       

      We are having issues with Horizon View Client on our iPads connecting to a physical computer.  We have the VMware View Agent installed on a Windows 10 Enterprise computer.  We then use the Client to connect to the machine.  We can see everything but the touchscreen/mouse and keyboard do not work.  Here is what we have:

       

      iPad iOS:  9.3.5

      Horizon View Client:  4.2.0

      Desktop OS:  tested on Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 7 Enterprise

      VMware View Agent installed on desktop:  6.0.1.2089044 (also tried 6.0.2 and 6.2.0)

      VM Environment:  6.0.1

       

      Any ideas???

          I have 2 clients having this same issue:

           

          client 1 is upgrading from View 5.2 to 7.01.  with client 4.1 he was able to connect to the 5.2 environment, with 4.2 he is now unable to connect to either.

          second client wants to leverage Blast extreme only (horizon 7), the horizon View client for IOS (4.2) does not offer an option to change from PCoIP to any other protocol, even RDP.

           

          Is anyone having luck with version 4.2 on IPads?
