Cann't install VMWare Tools in Windows 10 guest

I transfered my Parallels VM (version 10) on to VMWare Fusion 8.5. Now, the VM can run normally, but I cann't install VMWare Tools. Because the item was disabled in VMWare Fusion menu.

So, my VM cann't connect any network.

My Host OS: macOS 10.12

VMWare Fusion version: 8.5 trial

Hello Hawk,

Welcome at the VMware Communities Forum.

All the menu item does is to present the iso image to the DVD rom and connect/disconnect the image.

The iso images are located within the application bundle, you can either use "Show Package contents" in Finder on the VMware Fusion app and navigate the folders to copy out the iso image so that you can connect the dvd, or use the following command in terminal to have it copy the windows.iso file to your documents folder.

$ cp /Applications/VMware\ Fusion.app/Contents/Library/isoimages/windows.iso ~/Documents/
