Could not resolve start-time. Results data missing from one or more *.wrf files or time on clients not synchronized

Hi,

I've been tiring to scale with Tiles and it seems that i'm stuck on Tile2 for a couple of days now Smiley Happy

Tile 1 worked fine and i got a final score with only few warnings. After creating a second Tile and running both of it i'm having same issues over and over again and i can't find the reasons for the failures:

This is the output of score file:

VMmark 2.5 TileScore : v1.4 : updated 11122012

Error: could not resolve start-time. Results data missing from one or more *.wrf files or time on clients not synchronized

The major thing that is happening that i cant get a results, despite the fact that the run itself completes successfully. I went through the discussing here and checked all the suggestions:

1. The times are synched

2. The CYGWIN path is correct and the first one in line

I know that i have an issue with OlioWeb on Tile2 but it shouldn't affect the score creation, it will just probably make it a bit lower, right?

I'm attaching my results files.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Thank you very much

Alec

Hi Alec,

First I apologize for the delay in response. We are having an issue with the VMmark community notifications so I just saw your post now.

When a VMmark workload is not running, and therefore not producing output, VMmark cannot create the score file.  The harness processes the .wrf files and if it cannot parse these, you get the result "Error: could not resolve start-time."

In your case, the OlioWeb1.wrf is causing the error. Its output is "Error: Could not find or load main class radlab.rain.Benchmark".

From what I have seen, this is caused by a corrupted file in the C:\vclient\olioweb directory. On your client1, please replace the C:\vclient\olioweb directory with a fresh copy from the prime client or from client0 and rerun.

Please feel free to post back here with any future issues you may see.

Thank you,

Rebecca

Hi, Rebecca

Thank you for the answer.

Actually i have figured it out a couple of days ago, since it was an only logical reason. So, i've fixed the problem with the failed component (OlioWeb1 in this case) and rerun the benchmark successfully.

Thank you,

Have a great day.

Alec
