Problem In Vcenter 6 Installation on Top of Windows 2012r2

Hi Guys,

I built my own lap on 32 GB Dell Desktop and install the Windows 2012 Server r2 as virtual machine. Then installed the Vcenter-6 on top of Windows (Not as Appliance). I successfully done the installation and login from Vsphere Web client but

I couldn't able to create Data Center Object because Vcenter Server System is not available. (See attached Pic). Kindly let me know how i can fix this issue?

First try login in with the administrator@vsphere,local (assuming your SSO domain is vsphere.local) and see if works, because seems like you forget to give vCenter permissions to the user administrator@DSERVER.

Hi Richardson,

You are absolutely right when I login as administrator@vsphere.local I can see Vcenter Server System and able to Create Data Center Object  so the problem was the domain name of Vsphere.com.
