Is Fusion 7.1.0 still compatible with OS X 10.12 Sierra ?

Hello

When I upgraded to OS X 10.11Capitan, vmware forced me to upgrade to Fusion 7.1.0 as my virtual machines stop working at all.

I want to upgrade to OS X 10.12Sierra and I don’t want to pay again to vmware.

Please could you confirm that if I upgrade to OS X 10.12Sierra I can keep my actual Fusion 7.1.0 and both will be compatible?

I hope your answer, thanks in advance.

Not officially, no. You've already skipped the recommended upgrade for El Cap, so an every other, isn't bad.

VMware didn't recommend me, they forced to me to upgrade the Fusion when I upgraded to El Capitan.

Apple forced you by changing the underlying code.  VMWare had to make major changes to continue to work.  8 was the recommended upgrade for El Cap, not 7.  This year the changes were minor, so there's no charge between 8 and 8.5.
