MacOS Sierra Beta as Guest in VMware Fusion 8.1.1 fails

I believe one or more have said MacOS Sierra as Guest successfully installs when upgrading from El Capitan. This is not my experience when upgrading El Capitan 10.11.6 beta 5  (15G26a). Upgrade/Install process quits after about 15 minutes and reboots with the Sierra Recovery OS Utilities. A Utility option to reinstall Sierra Beta offers to download a copy of the Sierra Beta.

Suggest making Snapshot before attempting Sierra Beta upgrade from an El Capitan Guest in Fusion.

Two trials failed for me, forcing Fusion snapshot recovery back to El Capitan.

Any solutions for installing Sierra Beta other than upgrading from a clean install of El Capitan version 10.11.5 ?

Replicated here too. I cannot move or resize any windows in Finder. I see many other similar symptoms, where things "snap back" as soon as you let go of the left mouse button.

I reported it to Apple as a serious bug, using Feedback Assistant.

Does that include selecting text in TextEdit and Terminal? The text can be highlighted but upon release of the mouse button, the highlight is lost. That doesn't appear to be true for at least some third party software.

The latest MacOS 10.12 Sierra Beta was released yesterday, Version 6, build 16A304a. I installed it this morning.

I am pleased to report that the window positioning and resizing bugs were fix in this release. I never tested for the text selection bug in the previous release, but text selection and highlight works correctly for me in this new version.
