Cannot start VM

Hi,

we created a VM and when trying to start I get the following error:

An error was received from the ESX host while powering on VM VGLI3.

Failed to start the virtual machine.

Failed to power on VM.

Could not power on virtual machine: msg.vmk.status.VMK_NO_SPACE.

Current swap file size is 0 KB.

Failed to extend swap file from 0 KB to 8385536 KB.

How can we fix that? Thanks.

Hi

seems that the datastore for swapfile is full.

Make sure the datastore have sufficient free space to install the VM

If you cannot extend the datastore, reserve all VM memory to prevent the need for the swap file: Disable Virtual Machine Swap File (.vswp) | Virten.net

Thanks for tip! I just moved to a different datastore with this case.
