Can anyone explain why I'm getting this under Windows 10? I've repeatedly installed VMware-workstation-full-12.0.1-3160714 and sometimes when I boot up vmx86 fails to start, other times its perfectly fine. Its 100% random. I get a couple event viewer messages, the first is an error, the second is information just before it. Why is this so unstable?
"The vmx86 service failed to start due to the following error:
The request is not supported."
The description for Event ID 34 from source vmx86 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
