ESXi 5.1 PSOD

Hello Everyone,


I have an issue with PSOD for one the ESXi 5.1 host. The PSOD screen shows the below message and the attachment. Just want to know the reason for the PSOD on the ESXi host.

Please note that next month 5.1 is no longer fully supported by VMware.

Your issue looks similar to this where the fix to to patch the host(s): https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=20439...

My advise would be to upgrade to latest release or at the very least apply patches to current release.
