Nested ESXi Network Issue

I have two nested ESXi 6 machines running in a vCenter 5.5 Environment.  They are on and Isolated Standard vSwitch with a Windows 7 machine.  The Windows 7 machine can ping both of the ESXi 6 machines, but the ESXi 6 machines cannot ping each other.  Is there something simple I am missing??  Have been all over the internet trying to figure this out....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Need a test lab to start studying for VCP6 Certifications....

These ESXi hosts are installed from scratch ? And the security policy for the Test-Lab Internal is equal to the vSwitch policy showing on image you attached ?

First to answer your questions...

The second ESXi 6 machine is a clone of the first, and yes the Security Polices are the same.

I was finally able to dig up a solution to this issue here:

vmk0 management network MAC address is not updated when NIC card is replaced or vmkernel has duplica...

I stopped searching for the problem between Virtual ESXi Hosts and asked, "what if this problem existed between two Physical Host machines..."

Turns out the MAC Address was duplicated on the Management vmknic and not changed during the Clone process.

Thanks for your interest in this issue.

I suspected that you have cloned the ESXi VM and because of this I asked if you install the ESXi from scratch, cause clone ESXi without proper preparation can really cause problems.

To clone properly a ESXi, see this blog post: How to properly clone a Nested ESXi VM? | virtuallyGhetto
