Try to refer to this thread NSX CROSS VC NOT WORKING and use larsonm or mine post to check connectivity between ESXi3 and ESXi4 hosts
thank you
In fact, i created 2 Vnic for each VM first connected to VM network and the second for he PortGroups “VXW-dvs-53-virtualwire-2-sid-5000-logicalSwitch
when i connected network adapter1 and 2 on vm network th ping works and when i connected network adapter1 for he PortGroups “VXW-dvs-53-virtualwire-2-sid-5000-logical switch the ping fails
When you go to your logical switch, double click on it and go to monitor tab.
Are you able to test the ping there between the 2 hosts ?
If you are not able to ping, check your physical network if it is configured with MTU 1600
no i'm not able
but i don't configure a an edge
is it necessary ?
You need to Attach the logical switches to a DLR or ESG and then config IP addresses on those then try again.
logical Switches are layer two devices and by default cannot pass traffic unless attached to a device that can act as a layer three device.
Thanks
i'll try this issue
thank you very much
