I have virtual center appliance and virtual distributed switch which is handling 10 hosts in production.
I have no VCSA DB backup in place so in case my VCSA dies i have to rebuild it manually. I have few scripts to fast that process.
So if I have to rebuild my vcenter how i can rebuild virtual distributed switch? What is the best way ?
Can I just deploy a new vcsa and attach esxi host with it ?
I have created this similar scenario in my test environment.
Created a vcsa and one vds attach an ESXi host and took a Distributed switch configuration backup to later restore it and then shutdown the VCSA.
And now I am not even able to deploy VCSA appliance and it is giving me error “you have insufficient privileges on all networks connected to the selected host or cluster. you can go back and select another host”.
